SNOW ARRIVES IN THE SOUTH!! – 4/2/2012
Sorry folks I’ve been away for a while! My website having been tampered with by “hackers” , not only by hackers I was being bombarded by spam mails which had no relevance to my website. I’ve been fortunate enough to seek the help of my nephew-in-law, who has so kindly sorted things out for me of which I am grateful. I am pleased to say am now back in action!! Just have a little wander by guiding your mouse through every page.
I hope you all enjoyed the snowy weather, even though snow falling like manna from heaven is not my forte. I was watching all the shenanigans from the comfort of my home.
The problem with snow falls irrespective which part of the country it is, there are always casualties. Though we were informed of the impending snow falls, the infrastructure comes to a halt. We never learn!. In the continent, they’ve snow falls, and they cope beautifully. The interesting aspect of the snow fall is that it had affected most parts of the continent. Take Spain for instance, (this is where the “Darbies and the Joanies take their winter break”) has been hit by the coldest weather for decades coupled by gale force winds. I wonder whether they all stayed at home in England or braved it. If you do know the answer, my comments box awaits.
Several sporting fixtures were played in hazardous conditions as the white markings, had to be painted in darker shades.
This is also the time of year when central heating engineers make up for lost revenues as the call-outs are relentless. I’m sure they are quite happy about it and I doubt they’re complaining, though they wont say so. Good luck to them.
